A Weekend to Remember: The First Hilltop Owners Group Gathering at Trinity Island Tourist Park

In August we marked a special milestone for the Hilltop Owners community — our very first official group gathering. And what a setting we had for it! The picturesque Trinity Island Tourist Park rolled out the welcome mat in true first-class style, giving us the perfect backdrop for a weekend of connection, laughter, and caravanning camaraderie.

From the moment we arrived, the park’s charm was obvious. Surrounded by tranquil water and lush greenery, Trinity Island delivers that “hidden paradise” feeling — a place where you can truly unwind. The facilities are nothing short of exceptional. Spacious powered sites, impeccably maintained amenities blocks, and a sparkling camp kitchen made everyone’s stay effortless. The swimming pool quickly became a favourite hangout, while the shaded BBQ areas were ideal for long, relaxed meals together.

Our gathering brought together Hilltop owners from far and wide — some travelling hundreds of kilometres to be part of this inaugural event. The shared passion for caravanning created instant friendships, with stories and travel tips swapped over coffee in the morning and laughter echoing into the evenings.

A huge thank you goes to Kathryn and Bruce Davis, whose hard work and hospitality helped make the weekend unforgettable. The team at Trinity Island Tourist Park couldn’t have been more accommodating, ensuring we had everything we needed for a smooth and memorable event. And of course, we must thank Dham and Dula from Hilltop Caravans, whose presence added an extra spark of excitement for everyone.

As the sun set over the water on our final night, it was clear that this was more than just a weekend away — it was the start of something special. Trinity Island Tourist Park provided the perfect stage for our first Hilltop Owners Group Gathering, and we can’t wait to see where the next chapter of this journey takes us.
